Property Tour & Rooms
Private Arctic lodge in Finnish Lapland
Set in deep Finnish woodland on the Arctic Circle, Octola II Lodge is designed for guests who want to be fully immersed in Lapland’s landscape without compromising on comfort. The estate covers 700 hectares of private wilderness, giving a rare sense of isolation, with forest, snowfields and open Arctic skies forming part of the experience from the moment you arrive.
The main living space sits on the upper level, where large windows draw the landscape into the room, and a stone fireplace brings warmth to the lounge and dining area. The atmosphere is calm and private, with natural materials and clean-lined Nordic design that let the Arctic setting speak for itself. A separate kitchen allows the chef to work discreetly, while the dining area gives the whole group a space to come together after a day outdoors.
Octola II Lodge sleeps up to 10 adults and 4 children across five double bedrooms and two additional twin bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own seating area, TV, sauna, terrace, private hot tub and en-suite bathroom. The remaining double bedrooms are all en-suite, while the two smaller twin rooms on the lower ground floor work well for children or teenagers.
The lodge includes a TV room, games room with pool table, darts and bar, a children’s playroom and a gym, giving different generations their own spaces to enjoy. The spa facilities are extensive, with multiple saunas, a hammam, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a massage room and private treatment areas, offering plenty of opportunity for recovery after snowmobiling, husky sledding, skiing or time spent outdoors in the Arctic landscape.
Octola II is also a natural base for Northern Lights viewing. Its secluded location, minimal light pollution and dedicated viewing spaces make evenings feel as much a part of the experience as the daytime activities. In winter, stays can be built around aurora hunting and snow-based adventures.
