St. Anton

A buzzing Tyrolean town with a relentless party spirit and skiing to match.

Since the mid 1930’s St Anton’s reputation has blossomed. Located in Austria’s Arlberg region, it is renowned for incredible snow conditions and even more spectacular off-piste skiing, cementing its place not only as home to some of Europe’s best skiing, but also as one of the best après scenes on the circuit. St Anton’s mighty Valluga links the resort to it’s neighbour, Zürs, and so to Lech, creating an almost unlimited ski area.

However, St Anton does not rest on it’s snowy laurels, the town is packed with stylish hotels, luxury chalets, restaurants and bars as well as the newly built Arlberg1800 art and concert hall in St Christoph. The town’s shops offer an outstanding selection of skis and ski gear, as well as boutiques selling designer winter wear for the fashion orientated. St Anton’s nightlife only enhances the town’s lively atmosphere with famous bars such as MooserWirt and Krazy Kanguruh providing the ultimate après entertainment.

From the slopes, to the spas, to the bars, St Anton has the whole package.

Boasting 340 km of pistes and 200km of testing off-piste terrain, St Anton undoubtedly has one of the most impressive ski areas in Europe. As of winter 2016/17, there are four new lifts linking the resort to Zürs and Lech creating a vast variety of runs for skiers of all capabilities. St Anton is also the home of The Ski School Arlberg, the largest ski school in Austria, so children too can enjoy all the excitement the slopes have to offer.

With Christmas-centric events throughout December, ‘Ladies First!’ pampering weeks and The Audi Quattro Ski Cup in January, there is something for all the family. ‘The White Thrill’, held later in April, also offers extreme entertainment in the form of a cult ski race, pushing its participants to their furthest limits. There is an extensive collection of spas in the town in case of bad snow days, or if you are wanting do something more active there is also the multifunctional sport and climbing centre.
