Linking six sectors, Grandvalira incorporates Pas de la Casa, Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp. El Tartar has an impressive freestyle park whilst beginners in Soldeu can choose from over 60 green and blue runs.
The resort is particularly popular with boarders due to its wide, gentle slopes, some good off-piste and is home to the best terrain parks in the Pyrenees. Soldeu is also a favourite with families as well as with intermediate and advanced skiers.
Among the best runs in Soldeu is the Gall de Bosc, a scenic blue run that’s perfect for cruising down at a relaxed pace while soaking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Another favourite is the Avet slope, which has hosted World Cup races and is one of the resort’s most famous black runs. Expert skiers can also get a bus from Soldeu and head over to Ordino-Arcalis.
