Luxury Chalets Val Gardena

A paradise for winter sports lovers set in the heart of the Dolomites.

Comprised of three different resorts in a radius of just 8km, Val Gardena is a hub of activity both on and off the slopes. The towns Ortisei, Santa Cristina and Selva Gardena are the epitome of Italian charm and style; surrounded by the jaw-dropping scenery of the Dolomite mountains they perfectly embody the ultimate winter holiday destination. The valley is particularly well known for its tradition of hosting a number of international sports events including the Alpine Ski World Cup.

Due to its close proximity to the Dolomiti Superski ski area and the nearby Alpe di Siusi, the valley has a vast 1,220 km of interconnected slopes which offer something for skiers of every ability. From gentle beginners slopes and numerous challenging black runs, to a further 115 km of trails for cross country skiers, all of which are serviced by more than 80 fast and comfortable ski lifts, the skiing in this resort truly is outstanding. For those seeking adrenaline fuelled exploits there is also a snow park which has a variety of jumps as well as a big kicker and a boardercross tunnel.

Experience a unique blend of two cultures in a resort that never sleeps.

Scattered amidst the slopes are a host of lively, rustic mountain huts serving delicious traditional food. Since Val Gardena is so far North in Italy there is a great deal of Austrian heritage here, meaning that the food is a wonderful melange of both Italian and Tyrolean delicacies. In the towns themselves there are a number of fantastic restaurants alongside 5 star hotels and luxury chalets. The après scene in this resort is a lively one, with an outdoor DJ at the famous Piz Seteur and some fun, vibrants bars and pubs too.

The entertainment in this valley is seemingly never ending; with evening snowshoeing followed by dinner in a mountain hut, moonlit cross country skiing , or even night-time sledging on Alpe di Siusi, there is something for everyone, every hour of the day. Though famous for holding some of the world’s biggest ski races, Val Gardena’s entertainment is not merely limited to winter sport; the valley also combines snow and music, hosting ‘Rock the Dolomites’, a winter music festival in March.
