Set in Morzine’s Pied de la Plagne area, Chalet Nanook has a peaceful position just outside the busiest part of the village. The chalet sits above the valley with views across the surrounding mountains, while Morzine centre, the Pléney gondola and Super Morzine cable car are all within a short drive.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and covers 240m². Guests enter on the ground floor, either through the main entrance or from the garage, which leads directly into the boot room. This level also includes one en-suite double bedroom and the glass-fronted sauna, giving guests somewhere relaxing to return to after skiing.
Four further en-suite bedrooms are located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a large private balcony, an en-suite shower room and a freestanding bath positioned within the bedroom. The rear terrace is also accessed from this level, where the outdoor hot tub is set in a sheltered position for afternoons or evenings after skiing.
The top floor is dedicated to the main living space. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in the valley views, while the open-plan layout places the sitting area, dining table and kitchen together beneath the vaulted ceiling. The lounge is arranged around a wood-burning fireplace, while the kitchen includes island seating for informal meals or drinks while dinner is being prepared. A separate snug with a large TV and games console gives the group another place to relax.
Practical facilities include a ski room with heated boot racks, laundry facilities, garage parking for two cars and an additional space on the private drive.
