Completed in March 2020, Chalet Tuftra Findelbach is nestled in the Winkelmatten district of Zermatt, offering exceptional access to both skiing and the village. Skiers can glide through the meadow to the Matterhorn Express lift, and in favourable conditions, the Moosweg piste leads directly to the chalet’s door. Conveniently, a bus stop is located just outside, providing quick transport to the lifts or the town centre.
Designed for large groups, this free-standing chalet is bright and spacious, boasting breathtaking Matterhorn views. The upper floor features an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area centred around a stunning 360-degree wood-burning fire cube.
Ample seating ensures comfort, while a solid oak dining table accommodates up to 19 guests. Adjacent to the lounge, an office space and a cinema room with a TV, DVD player, and PlayStation offer additional leisure options.
Chalet Tuftra Findelbach comfortably accommodates up to 17 guests. The ground floor includes two spacious en-suite double bedrooms, one with views of the Matterhorn and the other overlooking a brook. Two more double bedrooms share a double shower room and a lounge, which can be converted into an extra double bedroom upon request. The lower ground floor features a double en-suite studio and a twin/double en-suite bedroom with a third bunk-style bed. On the upper floor, a cosy children’s bunk room completes this thoughtfully designed retreat.
After a day on the slopes, the chalet’s luxurious spa awaits, complete with a steam room, sauna, Onsen, and a fully equipped gym featuring a range of machines and free weights. Outdoors, a hot tub with spectacular Matterhorn views provides the perfect place to unwind. Additional amenities include a ski room with heated boot warmers.

Located in Winkelmatten, it's a short walk (100m) to the meadow from where guests can ski down to the Matterhorn Express lift and return to the chalet via the Moosweg run.

- Distance to Village Centre: 4 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes on foot

Location & Access:
- It’s technically possible to ski down to the Matterhorn Express, but you’ll need to walk a short distance to reach the meadow, and it’s only suitable for confident skiers.
- While you're in a great spot for skiing, the town centre is around a 15-minute walk. That said, the free ski bus stops just outside the chalet, so getting around is still easy.
