Recently refurbished, Haus Leytron has an elevated position overlooking Zermatt village. The apartment is a short taxi ride from the village but can also be accessed via a 24-hour funicular. Conditions permitting, it is possible for advanced skiers to ski-in off-piste within a short distance of the apartment. The apartment accommodates ten guests across 270m² of living space.

The ground floor is home to a stylish open-plan living area with a large stone fireplace, comfy sofas and floor-to-ceiling windows which provide a gateway to the glorious views.

A dining area leads out onto the terrace and there is a fully-equipped kitchen too. Guests can relax in a private hot tub and there is an indoor spa area which is separate from the apartment but in the same building.

A staircase leads to the top-floor hallway with a desk. Just off the hallway is an exquisite master suite with a TV, balcony and en-suite bathroom featuring a bathtub, separate shower and steam sauna. There are a further two double bedrooms which can also be configured as twins. Both have en-suite bathrooms with bathtubs, floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies. The fourth bedroom, located on the ground floor, is ideal for children with four bunk beds and a separate shower room.

Insider Insights at Haus Leytron

Location & Access:

If you’re someone who prefers to walk everywhere, do keep in mind it’s about a 15-minute uphill walk back to the chalet from town. The nearest bus stop is 100m from the funicular base, so electric taxis are your most convenient option.

Layout & Space:

The bunk room is just off the main living area and sits on a different level from the other bedrooms. If you're travelling with little ones who tend to get up in the night, this layout might not work for you.

Wellness & Amenties:

There’s a private indoor spa area with a hot tub and sauna available. It’s not inside the apartment itself, but located within the same building on the ground floor next to the boot room. To access, you will need to exit the property and walk down the stairs.
