Ski-in/ski-out chalet in Les Houches

Set directly on the Kandahar piste in Les Houches, Chalet Kuma offers rare ski-in/ski-out access in the Chamonix Valley. Its position gives guests immediate access to the Les Houches ski area, while Chamonix centre, Brévent and the wider valley are all reachable by car.

The chalet covers 372m² and has a private setting, with expansive terraces and views towards the Mont Blanc and Fiz mountain ranges. Inside, the design is contemporary and spacious, with large windows drawing the mountain scenery into the main living areas.

The open-plan living room is arranged around deep sofas and an inviting fireplace. Doors open onto the balcony and terraces, which make the most of the chalet’s sunny aspect and wide mountain outlook. The kitchen and dining area sit close by, giving the main floor a sociable layout for catered evenings or more relaxed self-catered stays.

Chalet Kuma sleeps up to 12 guests across five bedrooms. Four double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, while the bunk room has four adult-size beds, making it a practical option for children, teenagers or additional guests.

The spa, located on the lower level, adds appeal. Guests have access to an indoor swimming pool with counter-current and massage jets, as well as a sauna, hammam, and a large shower area. There is also a separate TV lounge with a Starck fireplace, giving children or teenagers their own space away from the main sitting room.

Good to Know

Location & Access:

The chalet sits on the Kandahar black piste, so doorstep skiing is most convenient for confident skiers. Beginners may prefer to start from the Prarion gondola, which has a beginner area at the top and is around a six-minute drive away.

Space & Layout:

The bunk room has adult-size beds, making it suitable for older children or teenagers, but it does not have its own bathroom and guests will need to share with one of the other bedrooms.
