Set on the sunny south-facing side of the valley, Chalet On The Rocks enjoys a private, residential setting within a short drive of Chamonix centre. The chalet has been designed around its mountain outlook, with large windows, generous terraces and views towards Mont Blanc and the Glacier des Bossons.

The main living floor is arranged as a vast open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area beneath the chalet’s angular roofline. Floor-to-ceiling glazing draws the mountains into the room, while old grey wood, stone and darker architectural finishes give the interiors a contemporary, pared-back feel.

A fireplace provides a focal point in the sitting area, and the Boffi and Gaggenau kitchen sits opposite the dining space, with bar seating for relaxed family breakfasts or informal evenings at home. A second library and lounge area is found on the ground floor, opening directly onto the terrace.

Chalet On The Rocks sleeps eight adults and three children across five bedrooms. The master suite is on the first floor, with a private balcony, panoramic views and a bathroom with a freestanding bath and shower. The remaining bedrooms are on the ground floor, including two double/twin rooms, one double room and a children’s bunk room sleeping three.

After a day exploring Chamonix, the chalet’s wellness facilities offer an inviting place to unwind, with an indoor sauna and outdoor hot tub for easing tired legs after skiing. On warmer days, the south-facing terraces, garden and barbecue area extend the living space outdoors.

Practical details have also been carefully considered, including a ski room with boot warmers and a two-car garage.
