Dating from the 1950s or 1960s, Chalet Nebraska has been completely renovated and extended while retaining its traditional Alpine exterior. Its central position places Megève’s restaurants, boutiques and cobbled streets three minutes away on foot, with the Chamois gondola also a five-minute walk from the chalet.
The sitting room occupies the entire top floor, where large windows and balconies at either end look across the village. Sofas, armchairs and rugs create an inviting setting for an afternoon at home. As evening draws in, a concealed cinema screen and projector transform the room for films before disappearing from view when not in use.
One floor below, the marble kitchen opens directly into the dining room. A glass fireplace sits beside the dining table, with a bar and wine cellar nearby for drinks before dinner. The principal bedroom shares this floor and has a dressing room, private balcony and en-suite shower room.
Four further bedrooms occupy the ground floor. One double opens onto a private balcony and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Two additional doubles and a twin bedroom each have an en-suite shower room.
The lower floor is reserved for wellness, where an indoor swimming pool is surrounded by loungers. A hammam provides somewhere warm to linger after skiing, while a small gym offers space for a morning workout. There is also a ski room and garage accommodating two vehicles.
