Chalet Écliptique suits families or groups of friends who want space, views and excellent facilities, and are happy to be located outside the centre of Morzine. The chalet is finished to a high level throughout, with generous indoor and outdoor living areas, a bar and games area, cinema, hammam, gym, hot tub and large garden. Perched on the sought-after sunny side of the valley, Chalet Écliptique enjoys an elevated position with uninterrupted views across Morzine village and the Pleney slopes. Located a 13-minute walk from the Super Morzine lift and the vibrant heart of Morzine, the chalet offers both convenience and tranquillity.
Guests arrive on the top level, where the main living space opens beneath cathedral-height timber ceilings. Full-height picture windows draw the mountain views into the room, while a modern wood-burning fireplace brings warmth to the sitting area.
A few steps down from the lounge, the open-plan dining area, opening onto a sunny terrace, features a large table seating 10 for relaxed breakfasts and dinners. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with Gaggenau appliances, including two rotisserie ovens and a refrigerated drinks drawer. A built-in wine cabinet, with space for up to 180 bottles, sits beside the dining area.
On the second floor, a bar and games room with a TV and pool table opens onto a large furnished wraparound terrace with views over Morzine. From here, steps lead down to the south-facing garden, where the hot tub and sunken firepit create a relaxed outdoor space for evenings together.
Chalet Écliptique sleeps 10 adults and two children across five en-suite bedrooms. Three bedrooms sit on the second floor, including the master suite, whilst a family room sleeps up to four guests with a double bed and two full-size single bunks above. Two further double bedrooms are located on the lower level, including one with a freestanding in-room copper bathtub and a private sun terrace.
The lower level also includes the cinema room, gym and hammam. The cinema has a starlit ceiling, sofas and bean bags for relaxed film nights, while the glass-walled gym includes Peloton equipment and yoga mats.
A glass lift connects all levels, and there is a separate boot and bike room by the entrance with boot dryers. Outside, the chalet has a covered carport for two vehicles, with additional parking for two more cars in front.

Good to Know
Space & Layout:
- None of the beds can be split into twins, so the chalet is better suited to families and couples than groups of friends who need more flexible room configurations.
- Although a lift connects the floors, the chalet is not suitable for those with limited mobility, as there are steps between the main living area and the dining area and kitchen.
Location & Access:
- Whilst Chalet Écliptique can be booked on an accommodation-only basis, we recommend the hosted service for most winter stays. This includes a 24-hour driver service, which makes getting around the resort much easier for guests who are not planning to drive. Alternatively, you could add on the driver service to the self-catered service for an additional cost.
Suitability for Families & Groups:
- For larger groups, Chalet Genevieve is located approximately a 30-second walk down the road. When rented together, the two chalets can accommodate up to 31 guests.
Location & Access
Set on the sunny side of Morzine, Ècliptique enjoys an elevated position with fantastic views over the village and Pleney slopes. The ski lifts, bars and restaurants are within a 15-minute walk of the chalet.
