A striking chalet above Morzine

Set into the mountainside a short drive from central Morzine, Chalet Joux Plane is one of the resort’s most distinctive private chalets. Arrival is via a 15-metre underground corridor, leading into a 680m² property featuring glass, natural light and wide views across the valley.

The main living area is arranged around a central fireplace, with generous seating and floor-to-ceiling windows drawing attention to the mountain scenery outside. A mezzanine dining area sits above the main lounge, while the bar, library and snug areas create several smaller spaces for guests to sit, read or enjoy a drink away from the main room. A glass central staircase connects the floors, with clean architectural lines and distinctive ceiling lights adding to the chalet’s elegant, understated feel.

Private terraces lead off the lounge, library and snug, giving guests several places to step outside and take in the views.

The chalet sleeps 10 adults and four children across six en-suite bedrooms. The master bedroom opens onto a decked terrace and has a freestanding bathtub, etched glass doors and an en-suite shower room. There are further double bedrooms, some of which can be arranged as twins, as well as a family suite with a super-king-size bedroom and a separate quad bunk room for children.

Chalet Joux Plane has an impressive range of facilities for both adults and children. The 23-metre indoor-outdoor swimming pool is one of the main features, with a spa area that includes a sauna, hammam, treatment room and outdoor hot tub. There is also a gym, cinema room, art gallery and children’s playroom, giving the group plenty to enjoy away from the slopes.

A large driveway, garage, ski room and boot room add practical convenience, particularly for groups travelling with several vehicles or lots of ski equipment.

Location & Access

Joux Plan is situated in a private, elevated location just 250m from the closest ski lift. Competent skiers can ski in from the Morzine side of the valley via a short stretch of gentle off-piste.
