Design-led chalet in Petit Alaska

Set in Petit Alaska, Etoile du Nord East Wing is a seven-bedroom chalet with a more contemporary feel than many properties in Val d’Isère. Oak-lined interiors, a bronzed-steel staircase, and broad, light-filled spaces set the tone throughout.

Accessed via a tunnelled entrance, the chalet shares a large garage on the basement level with Etoile du Nord West Wing. Upstairs, the open-plan living room is the chalet’s standout space, with a wood-burning fireplace, central stone island and wide mountain views creating a striking setting for the whole group to gather.

Etoile du Nord East Wing sleeps 12 adults and three children across seven generous bedrooms. The master suite sits on the top floor, while the remaining guest rooms are arranged across the lower levels, including a bunk room. Three of the bedrooms can be configured as doubles or twins, which gives the chalet useful flexibility for different group make-ups.

The spa is another highlight. The indoor-outdoor pool, with its retractable glass wall and adjustable depth, is the main feature, while the steam room, massage room and outdoor hot tub add to the appeal. There is also a cinema room with a bar and a fun viewing window into the pool.

Further practical facilities include a private ski room and laundry room.

Good to Know

Space & Layout:

Due to capacity regulations, the chalet is limited to 12 adults and 3 children, despite there being an additional bed in the bunk room.
An elevator serves every floor except the top floor where the master suite is located.
The main kitchen remains available to guests, while catered service can operate independently from the professional kitchen below.
A shared underground garage provides three private parking spots.

Suitability for Groups:

For larger groups, East Wing can be rented together with West Wing to sleep up to 30 guests in total. The two chalets can be linked internally via a concealed connecting door.

Location & Access

Etoile du Nord is located in the Petit Alaska enclave. Ideally located for skiing, the chalet is a quick drive from Val d'Isère’s main lift hub, home to the Solaise Gondola, Olympique Cable Car, ski school meeting points, and lively après-ski spots. Alternatively, it's a short drive to La Daille to begin your day on the slopes. The resort centre is equally convenient.
