Set within Octola’s 700-hectare private wilderness estate, Octola II Villa offers a quieter, more intimate alternative to the larger Octola II Lodge. Surrounded by forest and open Arctic sky, it is designed for guests who want privacy and comfort.
Inside, the villa is compact but carefully arranged. The open-plan living and dining area sits at the centre of the property, with large windows overlooking the forest and a stone fireplace that brings warmth to the room.
A bar adds to the space's relaxed feel, while the private kitchen allows the chef to work independently.
The villa sleeps up to four guests across two double suites. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, as well as a private sauna, terrace and outdoor hot tub.
Activities can be shaped around the group, from sauna experiences, snowshoeing, sledding and cross-country skiing in winter to hiking, foraging and nature-led experiences in the warmer months.
The villa is also in a good location for Northern Lights viewing, with aurora season typically running from the end of August to April. After dark, guests can step out to the terrace, return to the hot tub or simply enjoy the forest views from inside.

- The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed, although Octola’s Arctic location is known for frequent aurora visibility.
- Octola II is not only a winter property. Spring, summer and autumn bring very different experiences, from the Midnight Sun and foraging to hiking, wildlife observation, forest bathing and private sauna rituals.

Octola II Villa is located deep within the pristine wilderness of Finnish Lapland. The luxury retreat sits in a boreal forest just outside Rovaniemi, approximately a 20-minute private transfer or drive from Rovaniemi Airport.
