Contemporary Oberlech chalet

Opened in 2023, The Barn occupies an elevated position in Oberlech, with views towards the Omeshorn and surrounding peaks. Although dark timber is used throughout the interiors, large windows bring plenty of natural light into the communal areas and frame the mountain panorama from the moment guests arrive.

The open-plan living and dining room is arranged around a central wood-burning fireplace, with generous seating and a dining table for the whole group.

From here, doors open onto a spacious terrace with an outdoor lounge, dining area and firepit. A bar, wine cellar and entertainment room with a billiard table provide further space for evenings at the chalet, while the latter can also be used as a cinema or party room.

The Barn sleeps 14 guests in seven individually designed en-suite double bedrooms, including two larger master suites. Large windows and private balconies feature throughout the accommodation, making the most of the chalet’s elevated setting.

The private spa is one of the chalet’s defining features. It includes a 14-metre indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, gym, relaxation area and a separate treatment room. The chalet also has a lift connecting its four floors and a dedicated ski room.

Good to Know

Location & Access:

Although often described as ski-in/ski-out, the nearest slope is approximately 40 metres away along the road and it is not possible to ski directly back to the chalet door.

Suitability for Large Groups:

The neighbouring Chalet Mimi has capacity for a further 14 guests, meaning both properties can be booked together if needed. As both chalets offer the same services, all guests can be catered for together or separately, as preferred.

Space & Layout:

All seven bedrooms have fixed double beds, with no twin configurations.This may be worth considering for mixed groups of friends.
5 garage parking spaces are available at the Anger garage in Lech, along with additional parking directly in front of the property.

Location & Access

The Barn is located in Oberlech towards the end of a quiet road with near ski-in/ski-out access. There are plenty of bars and restaurants in Oberlech itself, but to access the centre of Lech you will require the drivers service.

Distance to piste: 40 metres from a blue piste leading down to the Schlosskopfbahn chairlift.
Distance to Ski Lifts: Short ski or 5-minute drive
Distance to Lech Centre: 7-minute drive
