For location alone, Le Chamois Penthouse is hard to beat. Sitting directly opposite the Blackcomb Gondola, it gives guests some of the quickest and easiest slope access in Whistler. The outlook is another part of the appeal, with the lifts and ski runs directly in front of you, so you can watch skiers coming down the mountain from the living room.

Recently redesigned, the penthouse feels notably more refined than most slope-side apartments. Arranged as a duplex, it has two generous living areas, which makes it particularly practical for larger family groups or groups of friends.

On the main level, the sitting room, dining area and kitchen are combined in one open space, with large windows and a broad terrace overlooking the slopes. Upstairs, a second living room with a pool table, a TV area with an optional queen-size sofa bed, and an additional kitchen provide a more relaxed space to retreat to later in the day.

The bedroom layout is split evenly across the two floors, with three bedrooms on each level. There are two master bedrooms, along with a mix of queen and twin rooms, which gives the penthouse more flexibility than many slope-side apartments. Guests also enter directly into the upper-level boot room after skiing, which makes the setup especially convenient in winter.

The private hot tub on the terrace is another highlight, with a direct view over the gondola base and Upper Village. Guests also have access to the building’s shared pool and gym.

Good to Know

Location & Access:

If convenience is the priority, the location is hard to beat. If you would prefer a quieter, less lively setting, though, you may be better suited to somewhere further from the village centre.

Space & Layout:

Only two of the bedrooms are en-suite. Two further bedrooms share one shower room, while the remaining two each have their own separate bathroom.
A queen-size sofa bed is available for groups with additional occupancy on approval
