Set along Sakura-Zaka Street in Lower Hirafu, V Residence is a recently completed chalet designed by Japanese architect Katsuhiko Endo. The setting gives guests easy access to Hirafu’s restaurants, cafés and bars, while the Ace and King gondolas are a short drive away for skiing across the Niseko United area.
The chalet is arranged over three floors, with heated floors throughout and a practical ski room beside the garage. The main living space occupies the top floor, where large windows frame views towards Mount Yotei and bring plenty of natural light into the room.
Sofas are arranged around the smart TV, while a separate media room gives the group another place to watch a film or keep children entertained.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area sits beside the lounge, with a Miele kitchen, bar seating and a dining table for up to eight guests. A wraparound terrace extends the living space outdoors, giving guests a spot for a morning coffee or an après-ski drink when conditions allow.
V Residence sleeps six adults and four children across four bedrooms. Two double/twin en-suite bedrooms are on the middle floor, both with dressing areas and bathrooms with bathtubs. On the lower ground floor, a further double/twin bedroom shares a shower room with the quad bunk room, creating a practical setup for a family with children.
