Chalet 1597 is located in the Stubenbach area of Lech, with open views across the valley. The Schlosskopf chairlift, Rüfikopfbahn and village centre are all five minutes away by car. A marked off-piste route from the Rüfikopf ski area allows skiers to return close to the chalet.
Extending across 450 m² and three floors, the chalet has been restored around many of its original features. The wood-panelled sitting room is warmed by a traditional Tyrolean stube, while a glass-fronted fireplace separates it from the dining room, where the table seats 14.
Stairs lead to an upper landing with a card table and reading nook, and the terrace catches the sun throughout the day.
Five en-suite bedrooms accommodate 10 adults and two children. A twin/double bedroom with a dressing area and bathroom is located on the ground floor. Upstairs, the principal suite has an emperor bed, separate sitting and study room, and a bathroom with a freestanding bath and shower. A second principal bedroom and a twin bedroom each have an en-suite shower room. The final bedroom contains four single beds and can sleep two adults and two children.
The cinema creates a separate setting for films post-skiing, whilst the traditional wine cave and tasting room provide an atmospheric space for aperitifs selected from the adjoining cellar. The spa has a bio sauna and glass-fronted relaxation area overlooking the mountains, with a separate massage room and an outdoor hot stone bath.
