Set in Mont d’Arbois, Chalet Tao is two minutes on foot from the La Cry drag lift, with connections towards the Mont d’Arbois gondola and Rochebrune cable car. Megeve’s historic centre is approximately 10 minutes away by car.
Partly decorated by renowned interior designer Axel Vervoordt, the chalet brings contemporary paintings, antiques and sculptural pieces into a traditional alpine setting. Exposed beams retain the warmth of a mountain home, while tree bark in the entrance hall adds to the natural feel of the chalet.
The sunken living room has a curved sofa and armchairs arranged around the fireplace, with a piano and table football for relaxed evenings together. Doors open onto the balcony, while the adjoining dining room has its own fireplace and an extendable table. The spacious kitchen includes a central island and a separate breakfast area.
Chalet Tao accommodates 12 adults and four children in six en-suite double bedrooms and an en-suite quad bunk room with birch bunk beds. Four doubles, including the principal bedroom, are on Level 2, several with balcony or terrace access. The remaining doubles are on Levels 1 and 4.
After skiing, the garden-level spa offers an indoor pool framed by bay windows, a hammam, massage room and gym. Evenings can continue in the private cinema, where a bar makes it an inviting setting for a film after dinner.
