ROMANCE: Mi Chalet, Alta BadiaLuxury Honeymoon Chalets
Built in 2018 by Karl Heinz Castlunger, Mi Chalet is a totally unique property nestled in the valley of Alta Badia. Built using local materials, the chalet stands out with its arch form and panoramic windows creating a fantastic sense of space and light. Two types of wood were used to create the chalet; larch shingles clothe the curved roof whilst spruce is used in the interior. The plaster, made from loam and straw, insulates the chalet, regulates the humidity and provides totally natural aromas.
The stylish open plan living area has an incredible feature fireplace at its centre and a statement chandelier hangs from the ceiling over the dining table. The en-suite bathroom is also striking with its lush green forest mural surrounding the bathtub. A design-enthusiast’s dream, Mi Chalet is ideal for couples looking for a quirky getaway in the mountains.
