Dufourspitz Lodge enjoys uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn, complemented by beautifully finished interiors and access to extensive shared spa facilities within the residence. Designed by Studio Birk, with interiors by Adelene Smith Ng, the lodge is characterised by thoughtful detailing and a calm, refined atmosphere throughout. Ideally positioned, the Matterhorn Express gondola is just a two-minute walk away.

Guests are welcomed into the residence through an inviting reception area, from which a dedicated ski room leads off, complete with ski lockers and boot warmers. Dufourspitz Lodge is accessed via a lift. Located on the top floor, the open-plan living area features

bespoke sofas arranged around the fireplace and OLED TV, with floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a south-facing balcony. A walnut Carl Hansen dining table seats twelve guests comfortably, while the open kitchen completes the space, finished with birch wood surfaces and Zug appliances.

Spread across four levels, the lodge’s five bedrooms comfortably sleep up to ten guests, with all beds configurable as either doubles or twins. One bedroom is located on the first floor alongside a separate shower room and a cosy cinema room. Two further bedrooms are situated on the second floor, one with a separate shower room and the other with an en-suite bathroom. The final two bedrooms mirror this layout, with one enjoying an en-suite bathroom and the other a separate shower room.

Guests also have access to the residence’s shared wellness area, which includes a swimming pool with jets, sauna, steam room, massage room, gym and an outdoor hot tub. These facilities provide an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate after a day spent exploring the mountains.

Space & Layout:

Whilst all bedrooms have private bathroom facilities, only two are en-suite.

Suitability for Groups:

For larger groups, Dufourspitz Lodge can be rented with the adjacent Lyksamm Lodge (sleeps 8 + 1), Horu Lodge (sleeps 8) & Tête Blanche Lodge (sleeps 4 + 1). The building also contains two smaller one-bedroom apartments, El Alamein Suite (sleeps 2 + 1) & Gertwetsch Suite (sleeps 2).

Wellness & Amenities:

The lodge's wellness facilities are communal and shared with three other residences.
There is an in-house therapist who can offer Swedish massage, Indian head massage, foot or full-body massage as well as manicures, pedicures & facials.
