An authentic alpine village located in the heart of the Three Valleys, Méribel is part of the world’s largest ski area, with access to over 600 km of slopes. Developed by Peter Lindsay a British military man, this beautiful resort remains very popular with Brits today with its lively après ski scene and outstanding ski terrain. Providing so many stunning properties for holidaymakers, we have put together a selection of our favourite chalets to help you choose.

DESIGN: Chalet Le Grand Cerf

With easy access to the slopes just off the famous ‘Georges Mauduit’, Chalet Le Grand Cerf has a traditional facade yet a contemporary interior with ultra-modern amenities. Situated on the third floor, the main living area exudes industrial warehouse chic with a cathedral ceiling, modern artwork, and colourful touches throughout. On the same level, Chalet Le Grand also has a spacious dining area with a second fireplace and a well-equipped Italian styled kitchen.

On the first floor of this luxury chalet in Meribel, guests can unwind in the beautifully designed wellness area with a sauna and steam room, or take in the mesmerising mountain views from inside the outdoor Jacuzzi. Making your way up the ultra-modern floodlit staircase, this luxurious property can accommodate 19 guests in spacious modern comfort across eight bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and several with balcony access.

VIEWS: Chalet Le Grenier

Providing breathtaking mountain views from most of the rooms in the house, the beautiful property of Chalet Le Grenier can be found near the Morel ski lift and Hulotte piste. With a formal open plan living, dining and kitchen area, the elegantly furnished lounge is arranged around a central fireplace with plush sofas facing floor to ceiling windows. Filling the property with light, these vast floor- to- ceiling windows provide guests with outstanding views over the mountains of Méribel.

From both the library and the lounge, guests can make their way out onto the absolutely breathtaking south-facing terrace for further alpine vistas. Complete with a seating area, the terrace makes for the perfect spot in which to enjoy a glass of champagne, as the sun sets over the snow-capped mountain peaks. With a magnificent spa on the lower level of the property, this luxury chalet can accommodate twelve guests, across six bedrooms, five of which open onto a terrace or balcony.

WELLNESS: Chalet Queen Mijane

At just a few minutes from the Golf Chairlift, Chalet Queen Mijane is surrounded by fir trees in a quiet location close to the supermarket and shops. Combining a typical Savoyard style with plenty of modern touches, the entire lower floor of this beautiful Meribel chalet is dedicated to wellness. Following a long day on the slopes, rejuvenate in the steam room or ease tension in the massage room. Those looking to burn some further energy can swim laps of the indoor swimming pool or simply relax and read a book in the relaxation area.

This stunning property also has a grand piano and wine cellar ideally equipped for wine tasting. Able to sleep 10 adults and four children across six bedrooms, the master bedroom has a walk-in wardrobe and dressing room as well as an en-suite bathroom and balcony.

FAMILIES: Chalet Pont du Cam

Located in Meribel 1600, the wonderfully family-friendly chalet of Pont du Cam is a spacious mountain escape at just a five-minute drive from the resort centre and a two-minute drive from the Doron piste meaning access to shops, ski lifts, bars and restaurants could not be easier.

This chalet provides plenty of post-ski entertainment from the champagne bar with a pool table, to the hammam, fitness room and eight-seater hot tub on the terrace. The large open-plan living area is the perfect spot to come together as a family close to the wood burning fireplace or head out onto the terrace for beautiful views over the Meribel valley.

Able to accommodate 14 guests in total, each of the seven bedrooms are named after a famous Cambridge University college.

ENTERTAINMENT: La Ferme de Mon Grand-Père

A perfect blend of traditional Savoyard style and contemporary touches, La Ferme de Mon Grand-Père is situated in the Mussillon area of Méribel and is within walking distance from the ski lifts, the Olympic Park as well as the shops. Recently extended, this stunning chalet has 800m² of living space with endless entertainment for guests to enjoy.

On the lower ground floor of this luxury chalet in Meribel is an open plan living and dining area complete with a bar and a pull-down movie screen - the perfect spot for guests to enjoy a movie night by the warm open fireplace.

Moving down to the ground floor, the entertainment continues with a dedicated playroom for children and infants and a second games room below for teens and adults, where guests can compete in a game of billiards, table football and darts, or enjoy the pinball machine and games consoles. With eight cosy ‘mountain chic’ bedrooms, La Ferme de Mon Grand Pere can accommodate 16 guests across eight beautifully furnished bedrooms.
