Set into the mountainside, this chalet has a unique location with beautiful decor and arguably the best views of the Matterhorn in Zermatt.
Accessed via a private funicular railway through the mountain, Chalet Maurice is the ideal mountain hideaway for friends or families looking for a secluded escape. The 500 m² chalet is a ten minute walk from the centre of town and a short three minute taxi ride from the nearest lift. In six large en-suite bedrooms set over three floors, Maurice is able to accommodate a total of twelve guests.
Designed by renowned architect, Magali de Tscharner, the interior features local materials and sumptuous fabrics throughout. The open plan living and dining area is light and spacious with doors leading onto a large south-facing balcony with spectacular mountain views. Also on this level is a well-equipped kitchen and cosy TV room.
Marvellous Matterhorn views from luxurious bedrooms.
The entire top floor of the chalet is dedicated to the magnificent master suite with its open fireplace, double height ceiling and large private balcony with a view across Zermatt to the Matterhorn. A further four twin/double bedrooms also have balconies with Matterhorn views. Featuring large walled mirrors, chrome accessories and charcoal tile finishings, the en-suite bathrooms provide the perfect environment for luxuriating.
Perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes, Chalet Maurice has an outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna and massage room. An integrated Bose music system creates a relaxed ambiance for entertaining and socialising.
